Job Role : Part time Accounts / Reception

Job Type : Temporary (to Permanent)

Location : Aldershot

Salary : £7.50 hour Morning / early afternoon cover 22 hours per week

Job Specification

Based in the reception of a lovely well established company. This is a varied all round role, that requires a candidate who is flexible and willing to take on a variety of duties. They must have the skills and ability to pick up the work immediately as there is limited training available.


Both parts of the role are very important:

  • Answering the door and the phone on reception
  • Making tea and coffee for meetings
  • Ordering lunches
  • Opening the incoming post
  • Franking the outgoing post
  • Booking meeting rooms on Outlook
  • Sorting and stamping purchase ledger invoices
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices - matching invoices with orders, checking payment authorisation
  • Inputting purchase ledger invoices into Pegasus Opera. ( Will train) This will include multi currency invoices.
  • Ad hoc spread sheets, so strong experience of Excel is required
  • Sterling bank reconciliation
