Salary : £27,000 to £32,000

Job Specification

This role involves working with consultants in developing new business proposals

Project managing, including the installation of new DC pension schemes

Communicating with clients effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing, in order to maintain and further develop our excellent client relationships

Attend and input into client meetings as required

Ensuring internal processes, including compliance are followed

Active participation as a team member, to achieve team targets and objectives 

Competencies

Knowledge & experience

Able to demonstrate expert knowledge and experience of UK Defined Contribution (DC) pensions, including contract and own and master trust DC pensions

Demonstrate an ability to apply UK DC Pensions knowledge to support consultants and clients

Thorough knowledge of the current UK DC pensions legislation framework

Demonstrable knowledge of and experience of applying knowledge on recent legislative and market changes and their implications for UK DC pension schemes and members and the UK DC pensions market, including but not limited to:

Training, education & qualifications:

Educated to a minimum of A Level or Degree or equivalent standard

Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification - minimum grade B

Relevant industry qualifications, e.g. PMI or CII  

Skills, abilities & personal qualities;

In addition to the necessary experience, qualifications and academic achievements, the incumbent should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:

Excellent interpersonal abilities, able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and clients

A client focused approach, able to develop trusting and credible partnerships with clients both face to face and via the telephone

Continues to seek ways of innovating and improving quality, service delivery and efficiencies in processes and procedures

Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work, in particular taking responsibility for personal and technical continuous professional development

Excellent organisational and planning skills

Capable of anticipating, resolving and owning problems, identifying solutions to management as and when required.

An ability to manage conflicting demands on time and able to work to tight deadlines in order to meet client obligations. 

Competent at delegating to ensure best use of resources

Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

Sound decision making skills, safeguarding the interests of both client and Company

Well-developed commercial and business awareness

Desire to develop personally within the role.
